Theodore D. Rohrer (1943-2016)

At the age of 73, Theodore D. Rohrer passed away on December 12, 2016. Born in Canton, Ohio on January 26, 1943 to Dale and Martha Strott Rohrer, he was an area resident all of his life. Ted, a member of the Stark County Football Hall of Fame, graduated from MSU where he played football for three years. He was a teacher in the Jackson School System for nine years and a life long farmer. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carole; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Terrie; and many other cherished relatives and friends.

Visitation services were held last week at the Hecker Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at the Bethany Mennonite Church with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial at Greentown Cemetery. Memorials can be made in his name to the Bethany Mennonite Church, 3497 Edison St. NW, Hartville, OH 46632.
